Inauguration of “The Corner”, the new Milanese skyscraper of Generali Real Estate’s Mascagni Fund

On June 12th htere was the inauguration of The Corner, the building owned by the Mascagni Fund of Generali Real Estate completely redeveloped by Atelier Alfonso Femia.

It is a stable corner place (hence the international name of The Corner) between Liberation Avenue and Einaudi Square, in the heart of the business district straddling of Porta Nuova, Porta Garibaldi, Varesine and Isola, which was the protagonist of a spectacular redevelopment of an old 1950s building that was absolutely aged.  Details and details well studied, such as the metal canopy, the lights and even the stairs at the back, very scenic. The building has an area of about 20,000 square meters arranged over 11 floors, with a spectacular rooftop terrace that last night hosted the aperitif on the notes of the musicians of the Effe String Quartet who for the occasion in the Italian capital of fashion, wore the colorful tunics by a fashion stylist called Roberto Novarese.

The Corner will host among its “tenants” – among others – Versace and F.C. International (Inter, which moves here from Corso Vittorio Emanuele II) that has already customized its panoramic terrace with a mini football pitch
