Effe String Quartet in concert with Teho Teardo and Blixa, Collegno.
Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld are two fine and peculiar artists that nicely complement each other.
The first is a composer, musician and sound designer of Pordenone and the second is a German singer and together start three years ago an extremely fruitful and productive collaboration that rival yet.
Very black (“The Blackest) is the title of their new album of new songs.
The languages are German, English and Italian and the song ” Nerissimo” opens the album in English and closes in Italian.
Very black also includes tracks like the experimental song “Ulgæ” whose lyrics explain with subtitles what happens inside the sound like a story.
Among many others, this latest work, presents an innovation in particular in comparison with the previous collaboration, there is the use of wind instruments, like the bass clarinet, and string instruments. In fact, on stage to accompany the two artists, there are a clarinetist Gabriele Coen and Martina Bertoni on cello and the String Quartet Effe.
